Hi All,
I bought a Lettuce Nudibranch ~ I also have a hermit crab in my tank. I have not seen the Nudibranch in 2 days. Do you think the hermit crab would have enjoyed him as part of his diet ? Or do they hide well ? I have ALOT of places things can hide in. I went to a 75 gallon tank and it is full of Live Rock and Corals. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks......................:)

You might get more attention in the reef forum ;)
Lettuce Nudibranch almost never hide. They are actually a sea slug that use light for additional nutrition. This make them want to stay in the open. They have a habit of letting go if they have no food. The thought is that perhaps they want to drift to a place with more food. If you don't have powerhead covers of anything to stop them from going to the sump that might be where they end up.

I had two Lettuce Nudibranch's but I am now down to one. They never hide in my tank and are constantly out in the open. Like Bangguy said they have a habit of getting sucked into powehead intakes. That is how I lost one of mine and I have found them numerous amounts of time in my preskimmer box.
