Lexan/Plexi

Whats the easiest way to cut 1/4" lexan and plexi? I saw the guys at Home Depot use a "knife" and scored it 3-4 times on one side then flipped it over and did the same, then snapped it. Seemed live he had to put alot of "force" into it though. Also, what type of glue for lexan is reef safe, say I wanted to make a wet/dry set-up. Thanks :notsure:

I take it there is a "special" type of knife? :notsure: I tried to score it with a box cutter x-acto knife and I barely scratched it. Half way through 1/4" should take me a few hours
What type of glue do you use? Thanks

I use a table saw and router the edge. Scoring will not leave you with a good edge for mating up. Use Weldon weld parts together. There is alot of info on the web and on this site if you search on how to build sumps and work with acrylic.
