Does anyone know if lexel sealant would be safe to use to hold my live rock together...the guy at lowes recommends it I guess...the sooner the better I'm looking to get started ASAP lol thanks guys :~}
I just bought this for my Corals. Works great, bonds underwater. Only complaints I read is the product turns white.....which did not deter me from purchase as it only means the user put way too much for it to show, coralline algae will cover it up in time, add substrate or small rocks in strategic places to hide. Only 8 bucks and it's a pretty long tube which measures 8inches
Yep, I agree. Although the marine epoxy doesn't stick to the rock well it will form a good cradle that will keep the structure stable. Just be sure you use more than you think it should need.
The white will quickly be covered by coraline or coral.
My favorite method is to just drill a hole in each rock and use plastic dowels to "pin" the rock together. that way if you want to take it apart later you can easily.
