LFS has STUPIDLY caused another potential DEATH

"mike s,"
I think its the domino and another (not common) damsel that ARE immune to most anemone stings... not positive tho...

I have had the 10 gallon for going on 2 weeks now....make sure you read this part now, don't want anyone jumping to conclusions... i took 7 or gallons of water from my main tank which is a 55g set up for 1.5 years and put it into the 10 gallon... but a piece of live rock and a 3 inch sand bed in there, took a filter cartridge from my 55g filter and set it in the tank for a week... tested the water every day and had seen no apparent change in water params... so i put them in there... tested the water after the fish died, still no changes... but i have 2 - 25 watt incandescent lights in the 10 g... so i figured that is enough... i read that condy anemones need 3-5 watts per gallon... and i have a small powerhead in there to keep some current on the anemone...
I think someone should HELP or TEACH if they don't know what in the they are doing... This MAN was not new, he orders the fish HIMSELF, he is the one WHO USUALLY DEALS WITH ALL FISH, and i'm sorry but if you don't know what you are doing, then should you be working in a place like that, this was someone who owns the store, and has been around SWF long enough to KNOW THESE THINGS.... and people USUALLY blame the LFS because the fault is one the LFSs behalf... did i blame the LFS when my first damsel died?? NO, because i KNEW what the problem was(cycling) DID i blame the LFS when my firefish DISAPPEARED, NO... because i know something like that couldn't possibly have been their fault, did i blame the LFS because my 1st firefish died, YES... because the fish shouldn't have died before i got to put it in the tank , when i PROPERLY acclimated it, and did i blame the LFS when my last damsel died YES... because the keeper STUPIDLY put the anemone and the damsel in the same BAG... and i think he KNEW WHAT HE HAD DONE, because he told me before i walked out the door, "can you hold the bag sideways, so everything has plenty of room to move AROUND", i nodded and walked out...
Would you have put the two in the same bag...i rest my case..

no I would definitely NOT put them in the same bag... I just think it's not necessarily their fault... anyone who KNOWS that you shouldnt put them together WOULDNT because its obvious it will probably end in death...
even if theyre in 'it for the money,' its obvious what would happen with the livestock and they would know not to do this...
just, if they knew what would happen, they wouldnt have done that... its obvious homicide, and I dont think ANYONE woudl want that under any circumstances...

Reply to an earlier post. Yes, I think the domino is immune to nematocysts, becuase I have one that swam through my condylactus anemone, before I traded it, and slept at the base of it, just rocking back and forth. It must be immune, or I just had an odd fish.

I dont know who to blame but I do know that when a fish catches my eye and after watching it a while and decide to buy it. I will not turn my back on the lfs person who is trying to net it and put it in the bag. If you dont watch you dont know if it got mashed between the net and side of tank, or even dropped on the floor. Im not saying that its your fault by any means. But if you had been right there with this dude, you could have prevented it.

I'm with Saul T. I think its the store's fault they hired dumb help that should know better, and they should recognize and correct their mistakes. Saul, I do think its time for a new pet store. The bottom line is, they dont have a return policy...what does that say about what they think of their fish? I dont buy from stores like these, this stuff is too expensive.
