I'm in New Bedford, MA. I usually go to Sea Creature aquarium on mineral spring ave. in R.I. There's really few stores I'd go to around the southcoast area, but john at sea creature is really good and has great livestock. I am however interested in the store you go to sk8fergy. What's the name and where is it?

There is a fishstore I stop off when I go to Hampton beach. It is at on rt 1 in Salisbury New Hampshire. It is on the left by the sharp corner by walmart. They are not the best. Then if you want to travel to Framingham, Tropic Isle is one on rt 9. They have a big selection but they are costly.

Tropic Isle in Framingham is the best aquatic store I know of in the state of MA...they are semi-pricey but then again, just watch for the deals...also, online coupons for discounts on all sw fish, all the time, no exceptions - (eg, $8 off of $25 purchase....all the way up the price ladder). I've had great experience from there, their selection is phenomonal and they take great care...also knowledgeable.
Uncle Ned's Fish Factory in Millis is great quality wise but extremely costly.
Lovely Pets in Braintree is my most recent find. At first glance, their selection is pretty vast, prices run on the higher side but I was actually there today and was very distrurbed to see ich in numerous tanks and TOO many fish with open sores, bacterial infections etc. I was really disappointed and left...will not go back.
Lastly, for RI .... 'Something Fishy' in Warwick is pretty good all around.
I personally stick with Tropic Isle...I'm more than an hour away but to me, it's well worth it in the long run.
Hope this helps :) Good luck

i go to aquadreams all the time. he's got a decent store, a great selection of corals and fish, awe inspiring live rock, just usually a tad bit expensive. but, it never hurts to support LFS cause they will be there when you need them.

I just got back from something fishy in warwick, RI and its not to bad. I wasnt impressed with there selection of fish but i loved the corals and lr. Im actually really stoked because they had tonga branch which is so hard to find now. Its very expensive there. I paid like 75 for 5lbs. A rip off i know but i wanted some so bad and i got to dig for it in the tank and pick out exactly what i wanted, which i will pay through the roof if its exactly what i want. I recommend this place.
