LFS in New York

I am probaly moving to New York (i don't want to but my parents are letting me set up 2 210 gallons that i am using to farm sps corals)................i was wondering if anyone new of an LFS that sell acropora and other sps corals

eddies aquarium is in the latham, new york area. upstate new york is pretty lame for lfs's in my opinion.

Depends where in NY. I am about 20 miles north of the city and go to
House of Fins - Greenwich, CT
New York Aquaria - Mamaroneck, NY
New World Aquaria - Manhattan
There are some others around as well but these seem to be the best.

How is House of Fins?

They are excellent. They tend to be a little expensive but they always have a great selection, very knowledgable staff, and healthy livestock. The majority of the corals and fish in my tank have come from there.
Reef and Fin in Stamford CT used to be good but seems to have been slipping since they moved.

i am in putnam county and i can drive anywhere in the state so anything would be helpful

House of Fins is great – very healthy fish, 7 day no questions asked guarantee on live stock, and great technical advice. They have been a little light on coral selection over the summer but overall the best LFS in the area
New York Aquaria in Mamaroneck has less of a selection of fish but always has great coral to pick from and the prices are better.
Overall you can’t go wrong with either one.
