LFS live sand

The LFS sells bags of live sand and I'm not sure if its worth the try. Has anyone used this type of sand? Thanks.

Yes.....ls from a LFS can be a great addition...I get some from a store I trust as often as possible...they cure large amounts of lr...the sand and stuff left behind is full of bugs/worms/pods....some folks spend tons of cash to get that kind of diversity...personally the more diversity the better...even trade with fellow reefers if you can.......

we use carib sea, live sand which was purchased at our lfs, and have had no problems at all

The ls I bought from a lfs was great.But I have a great lfs!!!
