LFS sold me wrong Anemone.

The LFS said he was selling me a Bubble Tip Anemone. The pics on this site shows me that it is a Sebae anemone.
What do they like to eat? I've been feeding it frozen invert food (zooplankton)
What type of Clown fish love Sebae Anemone?
And how hard are they to take care of? This one has good days and bad.
Why does it like to flip over onto its mouth and not reflip?

Is it possible for you to return it? I believe that sebaes are really really hard to keep. I had one and it died within two weeks. What color is your sebae? If it is white, it has expelled its photosynthetic zooanthellae and will probably die in your tank which can make a mess. I think the percula clowns like the sebae, but I am not sure which other types of clowns. My black and white perk was in love with the sebae until I removed it before it died in my tank!
Do you have a pic?

Whats your lights like and what are your water readings?
Give it some light and try feeding it something meaty like a silverside

Here is a picture on a good day. When I arrived home from work it was flipped over again.
I flipped it back and waited an hour before taking this picture.
Why does it flip over onto it's mouth. When it does it gets very sickley looking.

My water reading this weekend was PH 7.9, N2(0.5ppm), N3(40ppm), Ammon(between 0-0.25pmm) and Spec Grav 1.023
My lighting is 50/50 6000k light.

He also has not attached on the glass or any rocks since I brought him home 3 weeks ago.

What size tank do you have? Anemones need strong lighting, preferrably MH, but at least 4-5 watts per gallon. People have reported that without the proper lighting, some anemones will not attach to the rocks. Also, is there any tears on the foot where it attaches? Sometimes LFS will pry them off the rocks in their stores and tear the foot, causing the anemone not to attach.

I think flipping it over all the time might stress it out even more, but then again you don't want it upside down in the tank. Mine never attached to anything either after its initial attachment to a rock cave, which it let go of and ended up upside down on its mouth too. I tried to flip it over but it would never attach after that.

There should be NO AMMONIA
There should be NO NITRITES
Both are toxic and potentially lethal
Your Spec Grav should be 1.025, not 1.023. If you are using a hydrometer then you could very well be off anyway. A refractometer is much more accurate.
I'd also like to see that pH improve.
My lighting is 50/50 6000k light
What exactly does this mean. One light bulb? 6000k? Totally wrong spectrum, in fact below 6500k it usually grows algae really well, bad algae. If this is only a standard light then the sebae has no chance to live at all. I will add that neather would a BTA. That bulbs sounds like your typical freshwater coralife bulb.
But you tell me what that bulb is and what the wattage is. I'll help if I can.
Sebae's are considered delicate anemones, even vetran hobbiests have problems with them. They do best only under Metal Halide bulbs.

I have 1 light bulb that is a Coralife 50/50 20W 24" bulb.
I have a 44 gal tank that will hold two light hoods.
Should I ask the LFS if I can trade it in for something easier to take care of since I am a newbie, or should I keep trying till he finally dies.
I looked at its foot since he flipped over again (which he does daily) and I found no tears.
I even tried to place him in the corner on a LR so he could be happy and not flip.
He bloomed out beautifully for two days and then decided to fall off the LR and land on it's face again.
Maybe if I get stronger lights he will stay put.

I also noticed reading other forums, that people are feeding their anemone's raw shrimp.
Is this shrimp from local grocery store?
Is it safe to feed them fish or shrimp from grocery stores?

I would trade the anemone back until you get ammonia and nitrites at zero and your nitrates down to 10 or less. And I wouldn't get another anemone until improving the lights, preferably to MH.
I think the anemone is probably stressed because of the totally inappropriate environment (bad water quality, bad lighting). That may be why it's flipping over and won't grab onto rocks.

Tentacles are short and stubby, not normal, a sign of stress. Without proper lighting in my opinion you will not be able to keep this anemone alive. It is a photosynthetic animal and must have the proper lighting to even survive.
I humbly suggest that you take it back and get what you can for it.
