They were talking about Aquarium Concepts. Used to be in Hayward, is now in Dublin. Just in case they didn't see your question. Don't want to step on anybody's toes.

It's called Aquarium Concepts. I work there :) (925) 829-0583 is their telephone number. I'm not sure if its figi, but the deal is it's 2.99 per pound of BASE rock so its rather large flat chunks, still nice. Come in tomorrow between 10-3pm we are having a huge 4th of july sale. Regular hours are 10-8pm on weekdays, and 10-7pm on weekends. Huge Fresh and Salt water selection

I am very pleased to say my LFS suggested SWF.com to my hubby and me. So not all LFS are bad or even overpriced. But smaller stores tend to be very expensive. The store in Wausau has a 160g mix of Instant Ocean for just over $80 and we pay about $32 at our LFS. Huge difference and I guess that is why it appears he is going out of business. Even the large pet store chain charges $60, I think.

Aquarium Concepts (Dublin CA) and the $2.99/pound rock was mixed kinds of rock, some Fiji, but none of it was real pretty. It looked like the picked over pieces- OK fr under structures though.

ReeferNana-
Its a fun store to visit as they have a huge cylindrical tank filled with live rock and fish. It feels like being at the ocean. They have a good assortment of healty fish and a good selection of corals (although always low on colored zoo's for some reason). Definitely worth a visit when you're in the neighborhood.
What's an hour drive? I drive all over to see different corals and fish. That's why we're lucky we live in the Bay Area.

Thank you all of those who tells me about Aquarium Concepts. Seems like a fully stocked store. Guess I just have to drive up an hour tomorrow to check it out.
