LG Incite Vs. LG Vu Vs. Samsung Eternity

My contract come up for renewal with att soon. I'll be upgrading. I'm looking at actually 3 phones. All the new touch screen jobs. The LG Incite, Vu and Samsungs Eternity. I get so frustrated trying to compare phones as there's no set uniform fashion for the details to be presented. I mean you get lost trying to compare the different specifications. So you guys help me out will ya. I am most likely leaning to the LG Incite right now. My buddy has the Vu and so do a few others I know. I have tinkered with them a little and the Vu's seem great. The thing is the Incite seems like a much more powerful phone. With extended battery time, ability to handle more memory via SD card. The Vu can do 4gb, the Incite 32gb. I'll never use the 32gb, but it's nice to know I could if I wanted. Now the Samsung Eternity seems to be a "middle of the road" between these two...
Any of you have any of these phones? What do you think about them? Any one actually watch TV on theirs? How does that work? Does the Vu's battery seem to hold up long enough for your use? How do these compare to each other?

What features do you look for in a phone?
I am a smartphone nut so I know how geeky it gets when comparing different phones.
Is the phone for work or play?

It for work, but I don't need that many features in it. I need to be able to see missed calls, as well as dialed and received numbers. As I don't store everyone's number that calls me. I need a calculator and alarm on it, and battery life is important. But it's not that big of a deal as my truck is always nearby to charge it up. It needs to get good reception and I have to be able to hear trhe conversation. My Sony ericsson, seemed to be almost impossible for me to hear and understand conversations. I had to get a blue tooth to remedy this, then the blue tooth feature screwed up on the phone. I am using my old razor now. The sound is perfect. My buddy has the iPhone and complains of the same issue with the sound on it. What exactly do they mean by "smart-phone?
Really it's just too much to try to understand it all. Like the two Lg's one has one windows platform, something like windows pocket, the Incite has windows 6.1 somecrap...Which is the better version?
I do need the phone to be powerful and cool as hell too...
How does the TV thing work? That would be really cool. Caqn you get applications like the iphone for things. I like that alot.

My niece was over today. She had what was alltel's version of the Eternity. Pretty cool phone really. The widgets are applications that appear on the sidebar.
Any body have any of these phones?

Pretty sure the Vu is the outgoing model. It's being replacement by the LG Xenon, if I'm not mistaken.
I'm looking at the Eternity myself, or Samsumg Impression. Basically the two are the same phone, the Impression just has a slide out qwerty keyboard and a brighter organic screen. I was watching youtube reviews today, and it generally seemed like the Eternity/Impression outperform the Xenon.
For TV, in the reviews I watched, the Eternity can recieve over the air digital signals. The Impression has "Cingular TV" which is basically just streaming video you can choose channels from. Since the phones are near identical, I'm not sure if either has the others feature. I would think so?

I have had my Eternity for about 6 months with no issues. I think it will do everything you want from reading your posts. Touch screen with full touch keyboard works well for me (hated having only 10 buttons that you used for 26 letters and numbers and symbols in my old phone). Battery life is excellent for me. I text a lot (20/day min.) and probably use it to make/receive voice calls for 20-30 min/day. battery recharged every other day based on this use.
I do not use 1/10TH of the features on the phone.

I got the LG incite. So far this is an incredible phone. It has wifi so I can go online without a data plan. As long as I can connect wirelessly. Which I have wifi here at home and many McDonald's do also. Of course it's not like a desktop internet experience, it's just the screen is so stinking small. Other than that it's just like a pc.I get weather updates for free via wifi as long as it can connect and it is displayed on my home screen.
This is important in my field. The only thing I don't like and it's Lg's deal is there's no way to only allow incoming calls to be received that are on your address book. My old razr did this, my wife's Sony ericsson did this and so did my slvr.
Any how I found some hackers who pointed me to a program that kinda does this but only half arse...it'll work for now I suppose.

Doc....The 'caller block' or 'caller accept' function can be purchased with your plan I believe. It is usually offered as a way for parents to control what comes and goes in their kid's phone but should be able to be applied to your situation. Costs about $4/month
(for some thing that should be free IMO)

That plan wont work though. Then I could only recieve calls from up to 15 people on my list. I have at least 10 times that amount I need to recieve calls from.

OK, I have a 3rd party program installed that does what I need it too. As a bonus, I got a full working Garmin GPS program installed also. My phone now has one British navigator on board to guide me through life.
