Found my cleaner schrimp DOA today.I've had him since Dec.,06.Water parameters are all good,0 amonia,0 nitrite,20 nitrate,1.23sg.75gal,2 clowns ,2 damsels, some hermits. The shrimp would molt almost every 2-3 months. He would eat like there was no tomorrow! So,how long should these guys live? One note, my tank got a bit warm last week for a couple days 82-84 degrees!Put some fans on and my room AC and got it down to 80.What do you think went wrong?I don't think it's a temperature issue.
Thanks,
Nelson

From some things I have read, inverts like a higher sal. Like 1.026
Also they need ro water, to be on the safe side.

My skunk loves mysis shrimp ... the little cannibal!
Of course, he likes just about everything we feed, frozen Formula 1 & 2, flake, pellet. He even goes for the frozen Cyclops-Eeze, but it dissolves into such small particles I think it's hard for him to grab onto it.

They do clean parasites off of your fish too, so the cyclop-eeze shouldn't be to small.

I've been saying if mine dies I'm going to get a hawfish or perhaps a mystery wrasse but as things are I wont be holding my breath to get one anytime soon. I've had it longer than anything in my tank by at least a year.
