Light bulb replacements?

I am ready to replace the bulbs on my two tanks, the first has a Aquaspacelight with (2) 20k 250w MH and (1) 150w 10K MH double endeds. What brand are best? I have been told to go with hamiltons, opinions? I also am replacing PC at (2) 55w 10k and (2) 55w actinics, also hamiltons? yes they are straight pins. Any help is greatly appreciated. What ballast are you running?
Personally I like the XM bulbs for the halides.
