Light Conversion ??

Can anyone help with this idea.
I've got 4 48" VHO lights above my tank now...
I've built a hood over the tank... and the lights are approx 12-18in abouve the water of the tank now.
I want to upgrade the lights and as you can tell I'm a DIY for just about everything.
Will 250w MH lights work for this install? I'm thinking about 2 6500s and leaving the VHOs (2 maybe) in there to supply the blue coloring...
Is this a good idea? I get confused with the MH and choosing the correct one... 6k 12k 10k:help:

I would Leave all the vhos in there and get 2x250 watt metal halide 10ks. Also could we have a closer shot of your tank it looks nice.

There isn't much room up there with the 4VHOs... I can't get a good pick of it. I made it as big as the room and bedroom would allow...

She's B E A utiful... but, she rules the roost....
I almost wanted to fry her up when she started pickingon the LMB and the Burgandy star. I didn't even get them to the bottom of the tank...
She is surely a QUEEN
