Light issue????

My tank has been running for 8 months now. I am in need of changing the light bulb. I just have the regular lighting that came with the tank with a regular floursent bulb. I am going to get a nova extreme t5 with lunar lights..eventually... but in the meantime what is a good bulb that i can put in the regular light strip?

The kind of light bulb you will be able to get will depend on the fixture you have. Your options are going to be limited. The thing to do is check the wattage output of your fixture. For example if you have a 40W fixture then you want to get a bulb in that range. If you wanted to have more blue color in the light you could get a 50/50 bulb.

go with TEK..
have heard som not so great reviews about the nova t5 extreme. tht was my first choice as well but i went with tek.

there is just 1 24"..
I just bought a Coralife 10,000K 20W bulb.. Its not as bright as the regular light that came with the hood.
Should i get somthing different?

the 50/50 10k bring out more color in your fish a straight 10k is whiter but you lose color your option
