Light Kalvins

I am getting Metal Halide bulbs and I want to have a blue tinted light for my tank. I know that the higher the Kalvin the bluer it gets is 5,500 k blue at all or should I get a 10,000k bulb if I want a blue light.

20,000K has some blue to it. 10,000K is white, 5,500K is yellow.

I got some 10k's and wish I would have gone with 14k's I wouls try those.
