Light Question

I just had one of my Actinic light bulbs break and I don't have the money to replace it till the 25th. Will my tank be ok with just one bulb till then? P.S. There are still 2 10k and one actinic bulb working.

what size tank?? and what wattage are the lights?? itll most likley be fine unless you had bare minimum wattage

Technically you don't need actinics on your tank, its just for human pleasing color to the eye. No you don't need to replace it right away, you'll be fine with what you have in the mean time.

ya but actinics also add more wattage, so if they had bare minimum lighting for some corals and 1/4 of the light is gone, it wont be good

It is an 80g tank and the light are 65w each.

so right now with one bulb broken you have 2.4 watts per gallon, so as long as you only have softies they should be fine
