Light Shy Anemone

Hey there
I have a standard anemone which i have had
for around 5 years and still to this day i dont
know what it is lol.
Well my problem is that my anemone is with my
maroon clown for the 5 years aswell and as time
has gone on the anemone has shrunk in size. But
when my lights turn on the anemone shrinks in size
even more.
Why is it doing this??
i have standard -X2 ultra white
-X2 coralstar blue
basic flurescent tubes and have all just been
recently replaced??
what do I do?

Thats a BTA. its bleached!!! did you wait way to long to replace them? lighting? T5-MH-VHO is the best. its strange how you had it for 5 years and it has been this color or did it also lose color for you? maybe the picture makes it look lighter then it is.

yes it is very bleached! check to see if the foot is also bleached and if the tentacals are still sticky, this is a sign if then nem is healthy.

alot of experiance, im sorry but what
is bleached?
and could you give me a link please for
the T5-MH-VHO lighting because i have
tried for a while now and just cant
find any setup's or packages.
I live in australia so it is a lil harder..

I found 2 t5 bulbs for my setup and
it states that they are more intense
and they will set me back $110.00 (AUS)
each, or is it easier to just change my
whole set-up. .
