Light Upgrade!!!!!!coral Question???/

I would not be one to take an example from as to daily lighting practice......... Me being retired, I have far too much time to mess with things.......... I stopped using timers a long time ago............. But if you have just started with the N.E.Pro do use some method of protecting you corals from over burn and a possible algae outbreak........... Not just a few days, but over the next month or so.........
I vary my lights day to day, not a practice to be followed. if you are not home all the time.......... My main judgment calls are tank temperatures and if there is any nuisance stuff showing up.............Too much light equals unwanted algae etc. Not enough light slows or retarded coral growth.
This time of the year my photo period averages 10 hours with 2 Actinic bulbs running and around 5 to 6 hours of full lighting...........
