I recently upgraded my lights over 75 reeffrom 260W coralife to 2 X 250 W 20000 K MH Isn't it a little too much???

Sounds just right for SPS & Clams. If you have previous inhabitants you'll need to acclimate them to the new light.

alex there are some people on this board that have that lighting on a 55gal. tank you sould be ok and like bang said you can have any coral you would like and clams aswell.
