Well my lighting is about 1 watt per gallon.
I have a 30gal tank
dimensions-2 feet long,1 foot long, 18 inches high.
I have a Glass Cover.leaves 2 inches open in the back...and a twin tube strip lite cover. The cover only holds the two 18 inch tubes. I have one(tube light) that came with the top and a coralife 50/50. They are both 15 watt bulbs which puts my grand total to 30 watts....1 per gallon.
Now im looking for something that would NOT be very expensive(student budget). I want to get it up to maybe 3 or 4 watts per gallon. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do??
My tank sits about 6 inches away from the wall..the skilter is about 1 1/2 inches away from the wall. Also the skilter is in the backright corner of the tank if that helps any.
What type of bulbs would I get? From where? Pricing? How would the new bulbs be placed? Anything would be helpful. Thank you for taking hte time to read this all.
