Lighting and skimmer dilemma for new 140G tank

We recently made an addition to our collection of tanks which includes a 60G and 30G. The new 140G tank is 48" W X 28" H X 24" D with 200 lbs LR and 200 lbs LS.
So now the lighting dilemma.
1) 2 X 400 W MH plus 4 X 110 W VHO actinic OR
2) 3 X 400 W MH plus 2 X 110 W VHO actinic OR
3) 2 X 400 W MH plus 4 X 96 W PC actinic OR
4) 3 X 400 W MH plus 2 X 96 W PC actinic OR
First question. Which would be the best setup for clams and assorted corals (soft, sps, etc.)? We will be using two to three 4" fans to cool the water surface. Room temperature in our house stays between 68 to 82 degrees in the winter and occasional HOT summer days.
If we go with 2 X 400 W MH, should we go with 20K, 12k, or 10k bulbs?
If we go with 3 X 400 W MH, I'm thinking about 2 X 20K and 1 X 10K in the middle. Is this a good choice?
What about T5? Has anyone mixed MH with T5?
Skimmer... Is the Euro-reef CS6-2+ good enough? I was looking for the ES6-2+, but couldn't find anyone selling it. CS6-3 is out of the question because our stand does not clear 30" (it's about 28.75"). The cheapest I've found the CS6-2+ is $388, but if someone knows of a cheaper place, could you please email me at kevin @ maxima.org (remove the spaces before and after @).
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.
