i'm running two double strip lights two actinic and two daylight 10k & 20k i'm getting alot of green algae what can i do? I was told to put one of each in each strip with certain ones on outside and certain on insides any sugg.

Before assuming your algae problem is due to lights, I would test your water for nitrates/phosphates. How much do you feed your tank? Do you use R/O water for refills or tap? Do you have a deep sand bed?

Also how old are your bulbs?

I have to ask how old the bulbs ae too.
