Lighting Fixture for Hex Tank?

What do those of us with Hex tanks do about lighting fixtures? I like the idea of the clip-on bracket fixtures that only need to go on one pane of glass, but should I get one that is as long as my tank at its WIDEST, or should I stick with one as long as the piece of glass that I'll be bracketing it to?
Any other ideas?
Just for reference, here's a pic of the tank....
and thanx 4 ur help!!!

so they can just sit on the glass and they won't get too hot? do they have a fan in the fixture, then? it is annoying to get in to the tank with the lights sitting there like that?

Mim darling... I just ordered the coralife 150 watt mh hqi hang on fixture. It doesn't sit directly on top but hangs a few inches above. I don't have it yet but if it ever arrives, I'll let you know what I think.

mim, the coralife pc's i have are made to sit on glass- they do not get hot or affect my tank temp.
oceanic makes canpoies to fit this tank, but only via special order from a dealer- its around the 450-500 range.

hahahahahaha. and again I say; hahahahahahaha.
If anyone does anything for the tank, it's ME. and as for a canopy... I was kinda set on not having one. I don't really like the way they look on hex tanks, and they're such a hastle when u need to do anything in the tank. There are plenty of other ways to prevent evaporation.
