Lighting for 20G Long

I have a 20 gallon long, and im looking to up the bare live rocks with some zoo's and other corals as well as anemones. I've been reading up on the RBTA's and i was wondering would you recommend the Coralife 24'' 65 Watt lighting for this tank and would it be sufficient or would i need something stronger thanks. any suggestions for the type of lighting that i would need would be great thanks, i also have someone out here that has the 36'' 2x 95 watts.

a 20long is 30inches long...
You could run a 36inch nova extreme pro and have it hang off each end 3inches... it probably wouldn't look too bad...
or get you a 150w metal halide.. or the 30inch sundial T5HO...
All of these will allow you to keep a RBTA... don't do powercompacts they won't do the anenome very well..
watt for watt individually reflected T5HOs and MHs put out way more light than power compacts.

lets say i dont get the anemone would the power compacts be sufficient, the only reason im insisting on getting those if because i have a great deal lined up, the lights i can get from a friend for $60

yeah they're cheap because no one wants them and they're always selling them to get good lights...
seriously, you spend more money doing it twice.. ever seen how a tank looks under a PC and then under T5HO or MH??? night and day...

that is a valid point, its just i dont have the resources to get something up there you know what i mean, i have to work within my budget

I guess get it and while the tank is cycling save for a real light...

my tanks been running for 7months now i just haven't upgraded the lighting or anything, i have a skimmer and 25 lbs of live rock just stabilized the tank now i want to do more

you dont know how expensive that is.... its is REALLY EXPENSIVE

until you turn it on and see how mediocre the light is and get really sad...
I once had a 65w PC on a 20long.. it was sad...then I got a 150w MH and everything was better.
