Lighting for a 5 gal

I have a 5 gal hex sitting here, and am thinking about setting it up. Do you think a single 18 watt pc will be enough for shrooms and zoos. Nothing fancy, just playing around

I have the coralife 18 watt pc over my 3 gal. Its not a hex though and its okay. In the 5 gal hex my only concern is the depth of the tank but for mushrooms it would be just fine, not sure about zoas though. I am finding through my own experience they seem to like brighter lights...

maybe others will disagree.

i would say like 5-7 watts per gallon because of the depth i have many frags and stuff in my farms and the more light the better they will do so i would at least go with a 20watt minum

Watts per gallon has been proven to be bogus. But I agree, the depth of the tank will matter.
Pile the rocks high and keep zoas on top and shrooms lower.
