Lighting for a 55 gallon

Right now i have some money to spend to start my reef. First i need some good lighting so iwas wondering what some good lighting was for under $250. I want to keep soft corals and its for a 55 gallon(48 inch). Does anyone have a name or a link? THANX

if you really want to keep just the low light softies, just look on ---- for a dual 96 watt pc setup. lots of folks are selling them to upgrade to halide. i am seeing tons of them going for well under 200 bucks, and that is with new or near new bulbs.
since vho compliments halides so well vho are not going as cheaply or as often as pc i am finding... if you want to go vho though, a little searching should get you a good 4 bulbs vho for around 250 used, especially if it is not an ice cap system.

I would go for a 4 by 110 watt VHO setup b/c sooner or later you will want to keep somthing besides low light softies. If you look really hard on the net you could find this setup for $250.00
