lighting for fuge

Do I need PC's or can I just get by using a 100watt bulb
my fuge will contain LR, LS, and cheato (sp)

you do not need anything special for your fuge. The 100 watt bulb should work nicely!

I found 6500k florescent bulbs at lowes. I just bought 2 fixtures for 20 bucks and the bulbs for 13 bucks each -4 bulbs 40w each. I'm going to try this for my new fuge setup as soon as i get my ro membrane to make more water for the fuge and find some macro.
Just a thought. still a little cheaper then pc lights.

if I just by a small coralife PC light, do I need to change the bulbs every year or can I just wait until they blow out?

sorry to interupt. do u guy keep the light on 24/7 or just same time like the tank?

most people do 24/7, or you can run your fuge lights opposite to your main tank lights.
