Ive been keeping aggressives for many years with much success, and have finally decided to dive into reef. Im looking at a starter 10g-20g tank just to see if its my kinda thing. Im planning on keeping mostly mushrooms, maby colt, polyps, leather, etc. What im wondering is lighting requirements for either a standard 10g or a standard 20g tank. My lfs has the following in stock: 2x9w 6700k pc, 1x9w 10000k and 1x9w actinic pc, 1x65w 50/50 pc, 1x65w 6700k pc, 1x96w 50/50 pc, and 1x65w 10000k and 1x65w actinic pc. Obviously Id like to spend as little as possible, so I can save some $ to get a much larger tank later on.
thanks,
Jon

I'm assuming the 1 X 96w is the quad by Coralife, which is a popular choice over a 10g tank. You could keep pretty much any softy you'd like. I've seen it for as low as $88 online. HTH
