Lighting for Standard 29 gal

I am looking at turning my 29 gal standard into a reef tank. The only question is on lighting. For this tank would a 175 watt MH work well and allow me to get virtually any corals I would like? Thanks for the input! Mike

I'd do a 150 watt DE halide. If you're talking about the Odyssea halide, its really a 150 watt bulb. But, if you're talking about a 175 watt SE bulb, I wouldn't do it. It'd create too much heat over a 29, IMO. But a 150 watt DE would be perfect, and would allow you to keep anything.
