lighting how long?

i just got 2x250whqi and 4X55w t...all i have is a frog spwan and exina...its been fish only for 10yrs now i want to switch over...how long do i leave the hqi on for?

Are there any of the 55watt lamps daylight? My suggestion is to run the 4X55s all day (8 - 12 hours) and the HQI 2 - 4 hours during the time when you are most likely to be viewing your tank.
