lighting input needed...

gang,
i ve read a ton of threads on lighting and although i've narrowed my choices down im still up in the air over 2 issues and i'd like your opinions:
im going w/ a retrofit kit and for my main lighting im gonna use 2 , 250 10k mh's.(that im all set on)
1) what are your opinions on supplemental actinics, either 2, 110 vho's or 2, 96w pc's??
2) electronic or magnetic ballasts??
why, whynot, experiences,etc.

My personal preference is URI VHO SuperActinic run off an IceCap Electronic ballast.

I agree... URI VHO SuperActinic. I personally use magnetic ballasts on my VHOs... but I'm also replacing bulbs every 6- months. IMO go with the IceCaps, they will save you money in the long run.
