lighting my reef/frags

i just bought a 30gallon tank that I am going to use as a frag tank. It came with 2 175w 14k MHs. Is this enuff light?...to much? Should I only use one? Place directly on tank or raised?
please help

I would definitely only use one. That's a good amount of light. I would hang it above the tank if possible.

+1 on the this comment, one MH on a 30 gal tank is plenty, and do hang the light about 6-12 inches above water line if its possible to keep your temp down. If you want to control temp more you can run a fan inbetween your lamp and your tank to break the heat shield
