could you give me your opinions on this. I found a ho setup at 4x54 at a decent price. Currently im running a 260pc over the 55ga that i have. Really dont have the money for the halides at this time. Should i get this or would it even be that much better or a change. Thanks

Ok i just went ahead and bought the t-5s after i searched on here and read all the previous opinions w/ them against the pcs. Now i just have to wait to get them, hopefully il get them by Wed.

sweet great choice t-5s are very good, blow pc's and vho out of the water and is quit close to mh, what brand did u get?

i have seen the same setup and i just bought it also. i think it might be oddysea.
can you keep anenomes and hard corals under them?

on a 55g ya but keep the corals up sps up high, but if u went with a individual setupu would have no problem

Just a update and I have had the t-5s running for 2 days now and they are great. There is a defenite difference over the pcs. And the corals do seem to have perked up w/ them.

T5's are super, but think Fankers' comparison as they are quite close to MH's is a bit of a stretch......
