Lighting problem

I am having quite a dilema. It seems that my lights are going out, it seems a bit darker in the tank. How often do you guys change you light bulbs? I have a JBJ PC and have had these lights since about December, so I have had them for about 7 mo.

Some say about six months,some say more.But if yours are going dark,I would think it is time...

Thanks Mr. Salty. I went out and purchased new bulbs and it is much brighter now. Thank you for your help.
