it will work fine. but by going with PC bulbs you won't be able to get color out of the light. unlike with T5 bulbs

PC fixture are good for fish only tanks but if you got a T5 fixture you would have many more bulbs to choose from. AquaticLife™ 72 Inch T5 High Output Lamps with 8 Lunar LED`s is around the same price as the coralife fixture.

You don't even need lights for FOWLR they will be okay in the dark with little lighting. Why even bother to get PC its just more money and more on your electric bill. I'm planning to add LED lights instead not the High Output ones but just regular LED ones that will help save on Electric even more. If its next to a window its even better use sunlight although might have problem with algae growth as long as you got a lot of tangs and fish eating algae it should be okay.

if you already have that light system then by all means use it..i myself like that system for differnt lighting effects.but if your going out and buying a new light system for you tank you can go as low wattage as normal florecent lighting.but the pc at least will go the depth of the water..as for t5s i have no experience with them to say weather or not they are better for your needs... both of my tanks use VHO now but i have had the coralife fixtures and liked them
