Lighting Question. Help!!

I just bought a PHILIPS 20watt AQUA RELLA light. Can anyone tell me about it or what it does. It is the red packaging but there was also the yellow packaging, i wasn't sure what to get. I already have the blue. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

It adds light to your aquarium.

What exactly are you asking? 20 watts is not enough light to keep corals, if that is what you meant.

AInt it if u keep coral u need around mmm 5-6 watts per gallon?

That is a general rule a lot of people use. The two biggest factors are probably the depth of the tank and what corals you'd like to keep. Hard corals and clams most likely need MH, whereas soft corals can be kept with PCs.

I mean there is a red packaging and a yellow packaging. I didn't know which one to get so I got the red. What is the difference between them?:joy:

I'm not familiar with the product. My best guess would be that the red packaging is a red tinted bulb. Is your bulb yellow?

i think it has to do wit some spectrum if so it should of been blue i am not sure i read somting about that i am not that sure what it ment.
