Lighting question

What do you use for lighting on your aggressive tank. Right now I have a 4' power compact on my 6' tank and it leaves shadows in the corners. Was thinking of getting another 2' pc light but would like opinions on if it would be too much light and cause algea problems.

With the typically high nutrient levels of an aggressive tank, I would just stick with the lighting you have. Adding more just might cause you algae problems. Although you might want to try trading someone or a LFS your compact for a pair of 3' strip lights, or possibly even twin tube strip lights.

Thanks cincyreefer. I have 2- 3' strips that came with the tank but havent bought any bulbs for them yet so I may sell the pc and just use the others.
