lighting Question

I am trying to fiqure out how much more lighting I need.
I have a 84L*18W*24H tank (165gal). I have 452 watts of PC bulbs that came with the system (barely used). Half of the bulbs are actinic and the other half is 10K white. I am not wanting to keep clams, anenomes(sp) or sps coral, but I do want to keep lps, brains, leathers and the rest of the mid to low lighting corals. I have the front part of my canopy that I can still but lights in. Each front section is built so that I can just lift one side or the other for them to sit on the back half. Each front section is 39"L * 7" W. I am trying to decide on whether to go with VHO's or T-5, I do not think that I need MH since I do not want to keep the upper light corals. Here are a couple of questions that I am having trouble fiquring out.
Are two T-5 bulbs, which are rated at 36 watts I believe, the same as two VHO's that are rated 96 watts?
Would four of either of these bulbs be enought light to keep what I am interested in keeping?
Do I need to have half actinic and have white or do I have then be all white?
I am sure that questons like mine have been asked before but I cannot locate it.
Thanks for you help

Since you already have actinics I would go with T5 aquablue+. T5s generate less heat and last about 2 years. You probably have enough lighting right now to have the corals you are considering. I have 216 watts of T5s 4x54 watts with 1 true actinic, 1 actinic +, and 2 aquablue + in a 105 gallon that is kinda deep, 48x18x28. I would consider my lighting to be moderate.
Currently I have:
Xenias, Green Goniopora, a Devil's hand, toadstool leather, green mushrooms, hairy mushrooms, long tenacle anenome, and zoos, they are all thriving.
I am considering adding 2 more t5s to add a Gigas clam.
