lighting question?????????

i was wondering what a couple people have used for a 10 gallon that could sustain clams and maybe a anemone but wont boil
my water since im in a pretty warm area thanks for any replies

The heat from lighting is mostly produced by the light entering the water. More light = more heat. The type of bulb or spectrum of the light really doesn't make much difference.
10 gallon heat up and cool quickly which add a lot to the challenge. I have found that a fan pointed right at the tank can blow away enough radiant heat to keep it fairly cool.
