Lighting Question

I recently purchased an aquarium that came with a 48'' light strip with a Perfect-A-Lamp 40watt bulb. Has anyone used this light before? I tried putting in my Ocean Sun 48'' light but that gives off a yellow tint and the Perfect-A-lamp doesnt. I'd like to keep my light strip for now but I just wanted to know if anyone had ever used it and what light you would suggest besides getting T5 or MH lights.
Thanks,
Chris

Depends on what you're trying to light.
If you just want to see your fish --- lighting should be fine... if you want to keep corals I would always suggest T5 or MH or both.

Well I wanna keep an anenome but for now its going to be a FOWLR tank. I cant really afford T5 or MH because Ive dropped a large sum of money on the tank and equipment.

I would hold off on the anemone as well then... lighting is a really big expense and I would just wait with FOWLR until you're ready to upgrade some day.

If you want to keep anything other then fish, check out the list that the guy craig has, I found a 375wt MH with dual T5's and moon lighting for $200. Post a wated post.
