Lighting Question

I'm having a hard time deciding on lighting. I'll only have a few inches between my ceiling and the top of the canopy so I'm a little afraid to use MH with all of the heat. Would you agree? T5's i'm looking at fixtures or a retrofit. The only retrofits I find are 4 bulb systems which seem to small on a 90g tank. Buying a fixture is easier and it's almost the same amount of money. What would you do?

I have a brand called AquaticLife T5HO - they sit about 4-3/4" above the tank. It comes with legs - I bought one set at a time (2 bulbs per set) - they actually screw together.

There are plenty of six or eight bulb retrofits out there. Look for Icecap or LET.
