I just bought a 210g tank that came with flouescents. The questions that I have are should I go with Mh and if so what kind of setup do I need to get. I dont want to get a chiller for the tank. Also, I have heard that MH lights will greatly increase my electric bill, is this true or crap information? Thanks in advance for any help and please remember that I am new to saltwter tanks.

Ive been told not to get the Metal Halide lights now because I am not going to have coral, but since I am going to get an anemone( if spelt right) I should get the VHO. Any suggestions?

does anyone have any opinions? Ive been looking around and see that I should go with the halides, so how many watts do I need to have if I go with the halides and any answers to the previous questions?

Anemones are among the most light demanding critters in the hobby depending on what type you want. If all you want (other than fish) is an Anemone your best bet would be to get a single 250 watt HQI halide to place in the center of the tank for the anemone and run a couple of VHO's the length of the tank for the rest of your lighting.

I know that it sounds stupid, but what if I just added the single 250W halide on top of my flourescents?

Your going to need MH bro, or don't get the anenome. And yes, just one in the center and your VHO's on the outter edges should do the trick.
