Lighting Requirements for 40gal FOWLR

What type of lighting would i require to maintain 40g FOWLR?
(Not planning on switching to reef anytime soon unless its common for people who start only wanting FOWLR to soon want corals)

yea, i want the tank to have a good look to it, thats like 70% of it right?

more light is good for looks. NO lights are fine I have 2 on my daughters tank. And yes most people do end up wanting coral, When I first started though I should of stayed fowlr longer. Things happen(cycles, etc...) and I still have some green seamat that is recovering-months later
