LIGHTING ?'S AGAIN

ACRYLIC STAND HOOD ETC
USING IT WITH FOWLR
PC OR VHO (PEOPLE SEEM TO CHOOSE VHO) WHY?
WICH ONES TO BUY AND HOW MUCH AND WHERE
ANYONE HELP

I prefer VHO's but have both. I use PC's on tanks that have a size limitation. (They don't make a 13" VHO). Try:

Well if you are just going to go fish and LR then I would definitely save some bucks on the lighting for other things. The rock and fish both do not require any high output type lighting. You could just use 10,000K NO's in a couple of striplights. Plenty of light and butt cheap!...lol

I have seen both and VHO's in larger tank do look better. One other thing (just to caution about) with the acrylic canopy. It would noy be a good idea to use MH's with this canopy, they tend to get hot enough to make it sag alot and in some cases even melt it.

I am also prefered VHO over PC.
For the 125 G tank (6' long)
I would get 4x36" VHO and 3x250 W MH
