2 LED moonlights with blue or white interchangeable lenses. The power to the LEDs is supplied by an automatic photocell.
Individually contoured reflectors for maximum light intensity

Only one power cord, but dawn/dusk control is easily done with the dual integrated timers

There are numerous articles out there concerning photosaturation in coral. In short the test showed that in some SPS coral by noon the zooxanthellae has had all the light required for their growth and that anything additional is not utilized. (real short answer) Some experiments are going on using a short photoperiod of 6-7 hours, then a shutdown for the remainder of the 24 hours to allow the zooxanthellae to utilize the light, and carbon for calcification. Increased growth and color is being seen in some of these experiments.
8-9 hours of daylights in our tanks is usually enough, saves electricity, reduces heat and so on.
I have begun running my halides 7 hours per day for about a month now. Am not seeing anything detrimental in my coral.
Just my opinion and I hope that the posters in this thread will find this short discussion interesting enough to go out and do some more research on their own.

WHy 3 a.m.? LOL....Have your actinics come on first in the a.m.....IDK what time you get up...
My actinics go on at 7 a.m. white lights on at 1 p.m. off at 8 p.m. actinics off at 10 p.m.
That fits my schedule

why dont you feed them at night?
i found this online and agree with it! except the part turning off the pumps

Ideally, the environment in which aquarium corals are kept should be as close to those on the reef as possible. A number of coral aquarists have found that feeding their corals at night with the assistance of an automatic feeder and running their mechanical filters and skimmers through timers which turn them off during coral feeding hours has provided good results.

Do you go to bed at 7???
10 hours might be a little too much white at first.....maybe make the white light go on at 12-7...and actinic off at 8
