Lighting upgrade for 12g aquapod

My dad is getting a 12 gallon aquapod for xmas from my mom and i wanted to get him a really nice light for it for a gift..
What would be the top of the line light?

16.5 inch sunpod if you can find it, it would have to be used as they are now discontinued though. Next in line, IMO, would be the viper 70 watt metal halide clip on.
