they're both good sources of lighting. VHO's tend to be a little bulkier than power compacts.

HIya!,
I just recently upgraded to PC 4-65watters. I like them so far. When I get my cap built I am thinking of getting some VHOs to bump up the wattage even more. Right now I am running 4.7 watts/gallon. I like to get at least 6 watts/gallon on my 55gal.
