What are the differences between these bulbs?

6,500k has more of a yellow tint, 10,000k is more of a daylight white light, 20,000k has more of a blue tint to it.

There is alot of info on this site about different types of lighting and the color spectrums. It all really depends on what you want to do in your tank. If you have a fish only tank lighting is not that important. If your going to be doing corals and inverts like anemones and things you would need much more powerfull lights. 10k is a pretty standard color and it looks good. Something a little more important is the the wattage of the lights and how powerfull they are and how well they pentrate through the water to reach your corals and things. If you like a bright white look go with the 10k if you want a blue look go with 15k or 20k lights.
