i was into saltwater aqariums for a year then i ran out of money and after another year i want to set one back up but i forgot a few things... im setting up a FOWLR tank and i forget the type of lighting you need? :help:

As long as you are not planing on corals then standard normal ouput lights would be fine. I'll give you some suggestions if you tell me what size tank you have.

I would find a dual light fixture for 36 inch bulbs and go with 36" (NO, T12) AQUA-D White Daylight 50/50, 30W -URI $13.50 each mail order.
or you could get some with internal reflectors like 36" (NO, T12) Super Actinic R™, 30W -URI $16.50 and a 36" (NO, T12) 50/50 Actinic/White, 30W -URI $19.50.
Personally I use the Aqua-D's on my refugium and they look fine but I prefer the ones with the internal reflectors.
