im cycling my 29 gal..in the future i hope to have sum zoos and maybe an anenome...and a couple small fish...my question is..what kinds of lights should i buy? and could i buy the hoods or watever from a local hardware store? and how much do mh run for? and watt wattage mh should i buy?

Zoos and anemones are really at different ends of the lighting scale. Anemone's are one of the most photosynthetically demanding invertebrates around, whereas zoas, well...aren't.
PC lighting could sustain a zoo, whereas an anemone would need metal halides, preferably.

so could i run a halides for say 3 or 4 hours..then pc fo like 8 then actinic for like 12?? or could u recommend something??? like the setuo u run and for how long?? just so i could give it a try and see how it works for me?
